The National Association of Broadcasters Educational Foundation will award Johnson & Johnson, the consumer products multinational corporation, with its first Corporate Leadership Award.
The presentation will take place at the 12th annual Celebration of Service to America Awards, June 14 at the Hyatt Regency Washington, in Washington.
The award is to “recognize non-broadcast businesses that exemplify an extraordinary focus on community service and corporate social responsibility,” according to a release announcing the award.
Johnson & Johnson supports philanthropic organizations on several continents. Numbering more than 100, many of those groups focus on community health issues.
NABEF President Marcellus Alexander said: “Johnson & Johnson has proven to be a corporation truly dedicated to the overall health and well-being of people across the world.”
