Nancy Gilleo Honored by Michigan Broadcasters

Nancy Gilleo is among the recipients of the 2006 Pioneer Award from the Michigan Association of Public Broadcasters. The awards were presented at a Michigan Association of Broadcasters meeting.
Gilleo is administrative services director and business manager at WKAR(AM-FM-TV). She started at the radio stations in 1978 as business manager, added TV duties later and “has performed virtually every job at WKAR in the past 28 years, including working in the news and traffic departments, running a control board and performing on-air announcing.”
