Nassau Signs Promotional Display Deal

Nassau Signs Promotional Display Deal

Joan Gerberding’s Nassau Media Partners is expanding its forays into new media and non-traditional revenue. NMP, a division of Nassau Broadcasting Partners, signed a deal with digital promotional display systems firm AlivePromo. Nassau will provide marketing and sales expertise; AlivePromo provides Web-based software and hardware for what it calls a revolutionary streamlining of the retail point-of-purchase process. Gerberding said the turnkey system can deliver POP ads from one location to 1,000 stores at a time. “All it takes is an electric outlet and a phone line,” she said. NMP already has contract rights with the New York/New Jersey Port Authority to provide news and advertising services on 227 screens in PATH train stations, and with the N.Y. Waterway ferry system.
