The National Association of Tower Erectors will be conducting a safety webinar next week, Tuesday, Dec. 9, starting at 11 a.m. Eastern.
It is entitled “Achieving Zero Injuries — Best Practices in Workplace Safety.” Leading the webinar will be Ed Foulke, a partner in the law firm Fisher & Phillips, and he specializes in workplace safety issues. He’s a former assistant secretary of Labor for OSHA.
A release explains, “This program will examine the most frequent causes of injuries and best practices to eliminate them. It will also look at the top 20 ‘low hanging fruit’ safety violations that OSHA is looking for to cite employers and hit them with large penalties.”
It adds that learning objectives will be: hidden costs of workplace accidents and injured employees; best practices for improving a company’s safety record; and how to handle unsafe employees.
