National Radio Hall of Famer Kevoian Announces Retirement

Griswold plans to stay on the air

Bob Kevoian and Tom Griswold, alias Bob & Tom, are shown on stage accepting their National Radio Hall of Fame induction and announcing Kevoian’s retirement at the end of the year.

“I always thought you had to die or be retired for five years to be considered for any hall of fame,” said Bob Kevoian at the National Radio Hall of Fame Induction ceremony. “Thank God I’m not dead, but I am going to retire at the end of this year and walk away from the mic.”

Kevoian is a co-host of the nationally syndicated and eponymous “Bob & Tom Show.” His partner on the air is Tom Griswold, who was also inducted and intends to continue broadcasting.

The National Radio Hall of Fame Induction ceremony was held Nov. 5 at the Museum of Broadcast Communication in Chicago.
