Network Gets 200 Inovonics Utility Processors

Contract is part of BE transmitter job in Middle East

Inovonics recently supplied 200 Digital Utility audio processing systems, Model 261, to Broadcast Electronics.

The 200 processors are part of a transmitter package BE is installing at a major Middle Eastern radio network, according to Inovonics. The end user was not identified. The order was managed and facilitated by BE’s EMEA Sales Manager John Macdonald.

Pricing was not announced, though the retail value of the order would be $300,000.

The Model 261 Utility Processor is marketed for general audio normalization and FM airchain use. It combines functions of gated, gain-riding AGC, dynamic range compression and independent broadband and high-frequency program peak limiting.
