Neutrik introduced its Combo-A Series, which accepts both XLR and quarter-inch phone plug connectors.

Based on the A-Series panel cutout, it features high-packing density and provides space savings, according to the company.

The A-Series is available in two versions: as a six-pole vertical receptacle, and as a horizontal PCB mount receptacle, without switching contacts.

"The new Combo-A Series accepts two totally different connectors, which can be used independently of each other," said Jim Cowan, president of Neutrik USA. "This new introduction saves precious back-panel real estate and reduces overall manufacturing cost by incorporating two products in one."
