NETIA announced that during 2011 the company expanded into new regions, including Latin America, Africa, and Asia.
Thanks to its increased global presence, the company also said that it has gained entry into new market sectors, extending its client base of radio and television broadcasters to media archives and management across a variety of facility types.
Among new NETIA Radio-Assist clients that came on board in 2011 were Brazil’s RadioGlobo, the Ethiopia National Archives, Singapore’s MediaCorp, Radio Qatar, and Cameroon Radio TV (CRTV). As regards the NETIA content management system (CMS) solution, new customers include Belgian archive SONUMA and aircraft manufacturer Airbus. NETIA also added European post-production house Transatlantic Video as a new customer.
NETIA credits the momentum to the strategic foundation it built in 2010.
“As we had planned, the 2010 increase in executive and engineering roles, and in our worldwide sales force, bore fruit in 2011 with successful NETIA software deployments across a broader geographic area and a wider range of clients and applications,” said Christophe Carniel, NETIA CEO and president.
