But the MRC board also voted to remove San Francisco’s accreditation

Measurement and data analytics company Nielsen says five additional PPM Audio markets have been granted accreditation by the Media Rating Council.

However, the MRC board also voted to remove accreditation of the San Francisco PPM Audio market. According to the press release, “Nielsen stands behind the estimates produced for San Francisco and will continue to work with the MRC and clients to regain accreditation in this market.”

With all that in mind, 30 out of 48 PPM audio markets are currently accredited by the MRC for Nielsen Audio’s monthly Average Quarter Hour Ratings, according to the release.
