Oman Radio has selected Trilogy Communications audio communications and referencing equipment for a major ongoing project.
Part of a significant refurbishment to the broadcaster’s radio studio facilities, the contract includes audio consoles, routers and the entire communications system. Systems integrator All Systems International Ltd. will carry out the installation.
The contract covers both a Gemini intercom system for audio communications and Mentor XL master reference signal generators to provide essential synchronizing and referencing signals for all of the audio systems.
The dual redundant system generates AES and word clock reference signals says the company in addition to timecode and NTP using GPS receivers to maintain signal integrity and synchronization.
