OMT Sees Nearly $3M in Sales

The parent company of MediaTouch, OMT, reported increased sales for the first half of the year. “Sales of nearly $3 million during the first six months of 2002 represent a record level for OMT,” said Scott Farr, OMT President/CEO. “When combined with the company’s healthy liquidity position as at June 30, our improving gross profit margin and the sizeable increase in EBITDA over the past year, we are well positioned for a positive second half of the year.
Gross profit margin of 42.8% of sales is up more than 7 percentage points versus the five-month reporting period in 2001. For this, the company cited its continuing focus on the sale of software products, with higher sales margins. As at June 30, 2002, OMT had a cash position of $165,000 and no borrowings outstanding on its operating credit. OMT Inc. is based in Winnipeg and trades on the TSX Venture Exchange (TSX Venture: OMT).
