Today, Orban issued a press release pointing out that station WOR in New York is using Optimods for its digital AM service.
“Orban has had a long history with WOR, spanning back to Bob Orban’s first sale of a stereo synthesizer to WOR(FM) in 1967,” the processor company stated.
The station is using Orban’s 9200, 8200ST and 6200. Tom Ray is corporate DOE for Buckley Broadcasting and WOR.
