NAB has nominated two ABC Radio Networks’ national personalities — Paul Harvey and Tom Joyner, for the Marconi Radio Awards’ Network/Syndicated Personality of the Year.
The Marconi Awards recognize radio stations and outstanding on air personalities for excellence in radio each year, in 22 separate categories.
“Paul Harvey and Tom Joyner represent the best of American radio, providing listeners each day with news, information, entertainment and insight that enrich their lives,” said Traug Keller, president of ABC Radio Networks. “We are proud that both Paul’s and Tom’s outstanding work and accomplishments have been honored this year by these NAB nominations.”
The Marconi Award winners in each category will be announced in New Orleans on Sept. 7 at the Marconi Radio Awards Dinner and Show, at the NAB’s annual Radio Show convention.
