Broadcast Electronics announced the hiring of Dustin Vance as its western regional sales manager.
Vance is based in Newport News, Va., and he will lead sales efforts for BE’s transmission products and services in the western U.S. and Canada. It is a new position within the company.
Vance has a long history in broadcast technology, with multiple roles in sales, customer service and engineering. He spent several years as an engineer for Harris Broadcast, followed by 11 years with GatesAir as an application technician. He was most recently a customer service technician for Ingersoll Rand.
In addition, Vance served as chief engineer for stations and transmission services in Arizona. He also has experience in real estate, serving as a broker in Illinois.
Rich Redmond, BE’s president and COO, said that Vance’s technical knowledge and field experience will help its customers simplify operations and solve problems.
