Bialik Becomes a Senior Member of IEEE

Technical consultant is active with NRSC, AES and Radio World

David Bialik has been elevated to the grade of Senior Member of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers.

Bialik is a consultant, a Fellow of the Audio Engineering Society and senior member of the Society of Broadcast Engineers.

He co-chairs the AES Technical Committee for Broadcast and Online Delivery and is chair of the Metadata Usage Working Group at the National Radio Systems Committee. He is the former director of stream operations for CBS Radio and Entercom.

His commentaries on streaming and engineering best practices are a recurring feature of Radio World.

“Senior Member is the highest professional grade of IEEE for which a member may apply,” the organization said. “It requires extensive experience and reflects professional accomplishment and maturity. Only 10% of our more than 400,000 members have achieved this level.”
