DJB Software Hires Jim Hammond

Automation veteran becomes VP of sales and business development

Headshot of Jim HammondJim Hammond has joined DJB Radio Software as vice president of sales and business development.

The software company noted Hammond’s extensive experience in broadcast automation sales. “From seeing Scott Studios through its acquisition of DCS, to the Google purchase and ultimately WideOrbit Automation for Radio, there are few people in the business who have seen or done more than Jim,” it said in the press release. Hammond was with WideOrbit for more than a decade; most recently he was chief strategy officer at Radio.Cloud.

Hammond will attend the Radio Days North America conference in Toronto this month and the TAB Convention in Texas in August.

The announcement was made by DJB Vice President of Operations Adam Robinson. DJB Software Inc. is owned by Ron Paley.
