In addition to playerless download, Play MPE says version 3.5 of its distribution software for pre-release music to radio includes “quick-play login.”
The process of obtaining releases from e-mail announcements or via Mediabase 24/7 has been streamlined to one click.
“The new quick-play login upgrades will enable our users to streamline their music downloading process into an even simpler part of their everyday routine,” said Dean Ernst, vice president of MPE Operations.
Play MPE v3.5 also includes updates for both Mac and PC and has been configured to allow continuous streaming for full albums or bundles.
