PodcastOne announced the addition of radio veteran Amy Lewis Schachter to the network’s sales team. Schachter, who will assume the title of vice president, East Coast sales, joins PodcastOne after 20 years with CBS Radio. Concurrently, Dana Senit, was promoted to vice president of West Coast sales. Senit joined PodcastOne in 2015 and has built a record-setting team, according to the announcement.
Both employees will lead sales and new business initiatives in the growing podcast space.
“I am so excited to be joining PodcastOne,” said Schachter. “On-demand digital content, and podcasting specifically, continue growing rapidly. It’s a great time to get into this space and create new business opportunities.”
PodcastOne Chairman and CEO Norm Pattiz said he received telephone calls from people telling him how great Schachter was. “I met with her and they were right. She hit the street running before her start date,” he said. “What more can I say?”
