Omega Broadcast Technology is offering real-time audio content transmission from Maine for regional and national networks.
Omega is a new engineering services company founded this year by Chuck Bullett, who recently retired from KCBS San Francisco as its engineering director. Bullett was raised in Maine and is now back in the state, living in Portland.
“Maine is home to the most hotly contested Republican vs. Democratic race in the nation, demanding agile news gathering assets in some of the most unique locations,” he said in a press release, referring to the high-profile race for one of the state’s U.S. Senate seats.
