Marketron Launches a “Political Advertising Toolbox”

It's meant to prepare TV and radio sellers for the upcoming political season

Marketron has released a collection of free, online resources for media companies interested in boosting their political advertising.

The company says its Political Advertising Toolbox comes just in time for the expected boom in advertising revenue this political season, of “which BIA Advisory Services predicts will raise $8.6 billion for local media companies,” said Marketron in a press release.

The online toolbox offers five key resources, including an on-demand webinar featuring political media consultants, an e-book which highlights political advertising trends in the media world and a infographic that provides insights into what influences political advertising buys.

It also includes two articles — one as a  follow up to the pollical advertising webinar and another that “gives an inside look at the growing ad share for OTT/CTV and shows how to position offerings to win more digital deals.”

Christian Kligora, senior vice president of client success at Marketron, said political advertising is an important category for local media.

“It’s much different than any other, and that requires a unique approach,” said Kligora in the press release. “We’ve been developing content on the topic all year long with a focus on how to support media sellers, and bringing it together in one spot makes it easier to access and learn from.”
