German manufacturer Lawo has chosen Ralf Schimmel as its new director of global sales. His appointment was effective July 1.
He is now responsible for the strategic orientation and coordination of worldwide sales activities for all products, systems and solutions from the Lawo Group.
“In our new market position, it is important to coordinate the worldwide sales of individual Lawo companies for an effective market-driven strategy. We are delighted that Ralf Schimmel is taking on this important task within our group,” said Philipp Lawo, CEO of Lawo. “His broad expertise and his ability to develop and implement innovative sales strategies are a great asset to the Lawo companies.”
Schimmel was previously chairman of the board at a systems integration and a service company. He has also has worked as a sales director.
The Rastatt, Germany-based manufacturer creates video processing systems and solutions for IP-based video and audio contribution.
