Mid-West Family Broadcasting South Bend cluster General Manager Jim Roberts will leave the company to become national account manager at Futuri Media, Mid-West Family Broadcasting announced.
Roberts has been with the South Bend stations since 1996. He has held positions in programming and sales during that time and has been general manager since 2011.
Roberts is also a 2016 graduate of the NAB’s Broadcast Leadership Training program and serves on the board of the Indiana Broadcaster’s Association.
Mid-West’s South Bend cluster consists of WNSN(FM), WZOC(FM), WQLQ(FM) and WSBT(AM) and an FM translator on 96.1 MHz.
During his time working in the cluster, these stations have been nominated for three Marconi awards and two Crystal Radio Awards.
Roberts’ stations have been Futuri Media customers, so he is familiar with the company’s offerings, according to the announcement.
