Eon Media to Exhibit at NAB Show New York

AI company says Cumulus Media is among its clients

Eon Media says Cumulus Media is using its technology to create searchable, actionable content from its audio programming for reuse on digital and social channels.

The company will be among the exhibitors at NAB Show New York.

“Eon Media uses secure, in-house-developed AI to enable media companies to process live and archived video and audio and generate structured metadata across areas including people, objects, topics, brands, transcripts and scene information,” it said in a release.

“That intelligence can then be applied through advanced search, analytics, clipping, secure portals, sponsorship measurement and other content workflows.”

Eon said that other clients include PBS, US Cycling, US Swimming and WRAL TV.

Eon Media’s portfolio includes eonARCHIVES AI, which makes video archives searchable and reusable; eonAUDIO, which applies content intelligence to audio libraries; and eonEXTRACT, which uses computer vision to identify brands, logos, people and placements across live and recorded video and converts exposure into measurable performance data.

The company said it developed its AI technology for media applications and does not rely on third-party AI platforms to process customer content. It said the approach “is designed to give content owners greater control over proprietary material, including environments in which media, data and AI models need to remain isolated as well as ensuring that AI token bills don’t spiral out of control.”

Eon Media is based in Toronto, Canada. It was founded by CEO Ashish Agrawal, who helped launch OTT streaming services for Disney+, HBO Max and other firms.

It will be in booth 846 at NAB Show New York.
