The Spanish Broadcasting System said it enjoyed net revenue growth of 10% in the second quarter, thanks mostly to growth in Miami and Los Angeles. For the year, revenue is up 8%.
Net revenue for the quarter was just over $40 million.
Chairman/CEO Raúl Alarcón Jr. called the company’s second-quarter revenue growth “among the strongest in the industry” despite a difficult market for radio broadcasters.
“The majority of our stations are posting very strong ratings … While our momentum has clearly improved, these ratings gains bode well for further revenue growth in the second half of the year.”
After pending deals are completed, SBS will have 21 stations.
