Sears Joins Retailers Selling Sirius

Sears will sell Sirius Satellite Radio gear with displays now being installed in about 850 stores. The retail program is expected to be fully operational by Aug. 30.
"We are pleased to team with a world-class retailer like Sears and provide a premium product to its customers," said Stan Kozlowski, Senior Vice President, Retail Distribution for Sirius. "This national partnership further validates Sirius as a mainstream consumer entertainment service."
"Sirius Satellite Radio is a new and exciting service that provides consumers with the ability to select from 100 channels in their cars - similar to the variety of stations they get from satellite service in their homes," said Ray Brown, Vice President and General Manager of Consumer Electronics for Sears, Roebuck and Co. "As Sears is a leading provider of home satellite entertainment technology, Sirius is a natural addition to our offerings and attractive to a wide consumer demographic."
