Citing increased global interest in lower-power transmitters, GatesAir will bring two new Flexiva GX models to IBC.
The Flexiva GX line adds 2 kW (GX2K) and 3 kW (GX3K) models that fill out the low-power end of its analog FM transmitter family. The GX lineup now includes five models from 50 W to 3 kW, as well as 5 kW and 10 kW versions.
“New for IBC, GatesAir has enhanced the GUI for all six GX models, including integrated audio playback and a supporting playlist manager,” it said.
“Options include GPS receivers for SFN support, and GatesAir’s Intraplex IP Link 100e (IPL-100e) module.”
The latter integrates in Flexiva GX transmitters, enabling direct IP connectivity of FM audio and data from the studio. The IPL-100e also provides support for optional integrated professional 10-band audio processing software.
The Flexiva GX family can be configured to serve large national or regional FM single-frequency network deployments. With a GatesAir MultiSystem Controller, Flexiva GX transmitters support N+1 configurations.
