WorldCast Systems is rolling out a new FM re-broadcast receiver called the RXR2 for FM re-broadcasting applications and on-site modulation monitoring.
“It offers multiple audio and MPX outputs, ensuring maximum compatibility with existing infrastructures and facilitating seamless integration with various broadcasting systems and equipment,” the company said in its announcement.
The web-based platform enables remote configuration and monitoring, allowing broadcasters to manage and optimize performance without being on-site.
“It also comes with two independent FM tuners. The system automatically switches between tuners upon RF loss, guaranteeing continuous, high-quality broadcasting without interruption.”
The unit includes SNMP v2c and v3 management, allowing remote monitoring as well as integration into an NMS such as the company’s Kybio system. The RXR2 provides measurement of signal parameters graphically. A list of configurable parameters allows the monitoring of changes in the program with alarms and notifications.
The Ecreso RXR2 FM Receiver will be on display at IBC 2024.
