StreamGuys will showcase added features to its Ultra-Low Latency Streaming technology at the 2026 NAB Show.
The company originally introduced its ULL platform in 2024. StreamGuys said the platform eliminates delays to synchronize live sports action with radio broadcasts and video streams.
According to a release, the StreamGuys ULL first ingests streams into its contribution network, which is designed to transport locally-originated and third-party content onto the public internet.
StreamGuys then employs low-latency streaming protocols that remove delay at the output, where its HTML5-based SGplayer produces a synchronized live audio or video stream.
Designed to recreate the in-stadium AM/FM radio simulcast experience on mobile devices, ULL allows fans attending a game to listen to play-by-play coverage through a team or broadcaster mobile app. The platform is supported by Android and iOS devices.
New for this year, StreamGuys has introduced dynamic pre-roll ad insertion to its ULL service. Teams and broadcasters can insert sponsor-supported audio pre-roll messages aligned with in-venue promotions, broadcast advertising and digital sponsorship packages.
Ads run only at stream initiation, the company said. Publishers can opt into the StreamGuys Ad Network Marketplace if no sponsorship is booked.
StreamGuys will demonstrate the enhanced ULL technology during a March 17 webinar and at the 2026 NAB Show, located at business partner ENCO’s booth.
