Chuck Singleton Chuck Singleton has been at WFUV(FM) since 1987. Over the years he has performed almost every job at the station, on- and off-air, starting as director of news and public affairs. Most recently he has been the station’s interim general manager since spring of 2011. (As RW reported at the time, then-Station Manager Ralph Jennings shifted to director of internal and external relations then.)
Starting July 1 Singleton will no longer be the interim GM but the actual GM.
Singleton is credited with much of development as a leading college (Fordham University) radio station. He has especially been seen as a leading light concerning its indie/alternative music format.
