Internet radio executive Lisa Namerow has joined XappMedia as senior vice president of business development and publisher relations.
The Washington-based XappMedia provides interactive ads to Internet radio services. Xapp Ads provide branded content followed by an opportunity for consumers to interact with ads by voice to receive more content, be connected directly with others or go back to listening.
Namerow comes from Slacker Radio, where she was senior vice president of strategic partnerships and audio monetization. Prior to Slacker, Lisa held a number of executive roles at AOL, including general manager Moviefone. Most recently she was general manager of the AOL Music Network and AOL Radio.
At XappMedia, Namerow will work with the company’s executives to establish market position and business direction. She will be responsible for publisher and partner relationships to drive adoption of Xapp Ads.
