Annapolis, Md.-based Media consulting firm Research Director, Inc. has added Steve Allan to its programming research team. He will serve as a programming research consult, acting as the primary point of contact for programming clients and working to analyze and improve Arbitron ratings.
Allan has programmed WBIG(AM) and WASH(FM) in the Washington market; WODS(FM) in Boston; WOMC(FM) in Detroit; and WGRR(FM) in Cincinnati. In addition, he has held corporate programming positions for AM/FM and Clear Channel, as well as collaborating with companies to develop their social media and digital presence.
“For many years, I was a Research Director client and understand the value the company brings to the programming world,” Allan said. “In today’s multitasking, high-paced radio environment, the services we offer are even more critical to radio programmers.”
