Omar Thompson has left Clear Channel Radio for ABC Radio Networks as vice president of Marketing and Communications, the same position he held with Clear Channel. In his new position, Thompson will be based in Dallas and will report to Jim Robinson, president of ABC Radio Networks.
At Clear Channel, Thompson was responsible for developing and implementing integrated internal and external marketing and communications programs for the radio company. Earlier, Thompson served as vice president of Marketing and Advertising for Premiere Radio Networks, a division of Clear Channel Radio, and formerly held the position of director of marketing at Premiere Radio, which he joined in 2000 when AMFM Radio Networks merged with Premiere.
