Wheatstone Corp. highlighted several new additions to its radio, television, and audio processing product lines at BroadcastAsia2014 last week in Singapore.
On the radio side, Wheatstone unveiled its new Blade 3 input/output node, which includes built-in audio clip storage for emergency broadcasts or other specialty uses, a multiband processor for spot processing, updated routing functionality, AES67 compatibility for interoperability with other gear and full-color high-resolution OLED interface displays.
The company also exhibited the WheatNet-IP PC app with widgets such as faders, meters, labels, buttons, clocks and timers for creating virtual control panels, quick-access buttons, and other customized studio control from a PC or PC touchscreen.
In addition Wheatstone showcased its new digital audio consoles including the new networked talent stations, the 12-channel, the L-12 control surface and Audioarts consoles for broadcast, as well as the Vorsis, FM-55 and AirAuraX3 processors.
