WUSF Adds Colombini as Producer

She has earned awards from Public Radio News Directors Inc. and Alliance for Women in Media

Tampa, Fla.-based WUSF Public Media has hired Stephanie Colombini as a producer of “Florida Matters,” WUSF’s public affairs show, and to contribute as part of the Health News Florida team. The station is licensed to the University of South Florida.

Colombini was previously a reporter for CBS Radio’s flagship station, WCBS(AM)/Newsradio 880 in Manhattan.

A native New Yorker, she is a graduate of Fordham University, where she began her career in radio. She served as a reporter and anchor at NPR member station WFUV(FM), and helped launch the news department’s first podcast series, “Issues Tank.”

She’s has earned awards from the Public Radio News Directors Inc. and the Alliance for Women in Media.
