The Boston Herald reported that Greater Media is looking to lure more 18-to-24-year-olds by asking young adults to help program a new HD2 station.
“Greater Media has been quietly recruiting people on Craigslist.com, social networking site MySpace.com and on its own Web site as part of a project called ‘RadioYouBoston,’” the paper reported. “The idea is to entice a younger audience back to radio by handing over creative control of an HD side channel, which can be picked up by radios equipped with HD-receptors and streamed online. The ‘RadioYou’ channel will piggyback on the signal of adult-rock station WBOS(FM).”
