BionicScribe is an on-premise tool meant to meet the demands of live radio shows by converting spoken audio and text into searchable, broadcast-ready content.
Working within the BionicStudio software, BionicScribe uses local processing, which allows for data privacy and security, Broadcast Bionics said.
It also allows for faster processing, suitable for live environments. The tool can also highlight detection and summarization, which allows producers to identify content from an otherwise “overwhelming” volume of messages.
BionicScribe is the first in a new generation of “augmented intelligence” tools from Broadcast Bionics. The company said it is in use across some of the United Kingdom’s commercial radio networks.
