Taking advantage of a trend in sports broadcasting to put coaches and players on-air during a game, U.K.-based broadcast equipment maker Glensound Electronics has developed a “commentary” box with an RTS/Telex intercom interface built in.
The interface provides an on-air input from the type of intercom systems that are popularly used by sports teams and facilities.
The COIN GT-013 provides traditional phantom-powered microphone inputs, a compressor/limiter along with standard headphones outputs and controls.
The Telex intercom module is itself a four-key (channel) model that fully interfaces with RTS/Telex intercom matrixes.
