Henry Has the Power

PowerSwitch was designed to power up a backup PPM monitor, and has further uses

Better safe than sorry is a useful motto for any broadcast engineer. Henry Engineering makes a product that fits that mantra.

The PowerSwitch is a “failsafe AC power controller.” Designed initially to automatically power up a backup Arbitron PPM monitor in the event of failure of the main unit, it will have numerous other uses, Henry says.

For specifics, the PowerSwitch has two AC outlets and an audible alarm that sounds when power has been switched. The PowerSwitch will also act as a remotely-controlled power switcher for use with equipment that has to be manually powered. GPI contacts are on the back panel. The steel box is 1/3 of a rack unit in size and can be rackmounted with an adapter.
