iHeartMedia has collaborated with General Motors to create an app that’s now available in some 2018 Chevrolet, Cadillac and GMC vehicles and tailored to their specific infotainment systems.
The broadcaster says the app is designed to be driver-friendly and offers “streamlined interface” for users who want to listen to music while driving but be less distracted.
Other features include playback history, a list of recently played stations, local station transitions and Custom Artist Station creation.
The iHeart GM app joins a lineup of other apps customized for vehicle manufacturers, including BMW, Buick, Chrysler, Dodge, Ford, Honda, Jaguar, Land Rover, Lexus, Lincoln, Mercedes-Benz, Mini, Nissan, Ram, Suburu and Toyota. They also have a presence in many aftermarket headunits.
