Digital Alert Systems is dampening the issue of fan hum with a new option for its DASDEC-I and DASDEC-II emergency alert systems.
NoNoise-PS is described as a professional-grade no-noise power supply option for units in quiet environments such as radio studios.
VP of Business Development Bill Robertson said in the announcement that this “a reliable and attractively priced alternative to using a sound isolation rack or placing the unit outside the studio.” The option retails for $200.
The power supply is an external brick supply that replaces the DASDEC installed power supply with a connector panel. It can be added at time of order or, if you have a DASDEC, the supply can be retrofitted at the factory.
