Broadcast Bionics has added WhatsApp calling support to its BionicStudio broadcast workflow software.
The company says it did so in response to more listeners using WhatsApp audio calls. The integration allows BionicStudio to receive and route HD WhatsApp audio calls directly. Calls can be initiated via invitation, which allows guests and contributors to join a broadcast remotely.
BionicStudio can also receive WhatsApp multimedia messages. With its BionicScribe transcription offering, voice notes and live calls can be turned into searchable, broadcast-ready text.
Broadcast Bionics said that its tools are built with a focus on security, respecting compliance and allowing for editorial control.
