Broadcast Electronics has introduced a new version of The Radio Experience.
Called TREplus, it is described as a visual content management platform that enables radio broadcasters to deliver content to digital dashboards and opens opportunities for new revenue.
“The Radio Experience – TREplus manages data and visual content across every available audio delivery method, including analog FM RDS, HD Radio, DAB, DRM, streaming, mobile apps, and station websites, wherever your audio goes,” BE said in its announcement.
The cloud-hosted platform features a three-tier design that BE says is tailored to meet a user’s needs.
“This scalable solution allows broadcasters to grow their capabilities as they expand their audience and optimize their operations. Additionally, the new network tier simplifies regional, format and national campaigns by expanding the message manager, which provides a streamlined approach for broadcasters to deliver their content effortlessly.”
Features include connectivity to hybrid radio platforms such as RadioDNS and Xperi DTS AutoStage.
BE highlights its reporting capabilities and a Content Watchdog feature that helps broadcasters monitor and verify their content. “Closed-loop verification ensures optimal quality control and peace of mind for broadcasters and their advertisers.”
The product was announced by President/COO Rich Redmond, who noted the rapid growth of screens in cars that can display text and full color graphic images. “TREplus simplifies operations, delivers compelling visual content to the dash, and enables new revenue streams.”
