From the Radio World “Who’s Buying What” page: In Cincinnati, Hubbard Radio’s 97.3 WYGY(FM) is now making use of Radio.Cloud’s operating system and automation.

Hubbard said the initial implementation is part of a larger, phased approach across its Cincinnati properties as it evaluates how the technology supports its commitment to “quality, consistency and localism.”

The media company owns four stations in the market — 94.9 WREW(FM), 101.9 WKRQ(FM), 105.1 WUBE(FM) and WYGY, which runs a country format as “The Wolf.”

Radio.Cloud offers cloud-based real-time playout, remote production and content delivery, accessible in a browser-based studio environment. The company said its platform is used by more than 100 stations nationwide.

Dave Garner, Hubbard’s VP of engineering, said the flexibility of the cloud will allow the company to use local talent and programming content as needed throughout its markets.

Hubbard operates radio and TV stations in 10 states nationwide.
