Samoa’s National Station Deploys AEQ Mixer

Studio renovation was performed by Miseopoint

From the Radio World Who’s Buying What page: AEQ said Radio2AP in Samoa is using the Capitol IP console after a renovation of its main studio.

“Radio 2AP is Samoa’s national radio station, founded in 1947, when it began broadcasting only on AM,” the company said in its announcement.

The station broadcasts on AM to cover the islands of Upolu, where the capital city Apia is located, and Suvaii, and on FM with several new transmitters around the nation, as well as online via aggregator ZenoFM.

“Its programming is mainly public service, with large news slots and very local content, along with large music or sports blocks.”

Miseopoint handled the renovation of the broadcast studio. The company also collaborated with AEQ on recent projects for Eclair FM in Guadeloupe and SBC in the Solomon Islands.
