PublicFile Pro is a new, patent-pending compliance platform from Summit Technology Group.

It is an “all in one” cloud-based offering that Summit says uses a single dashboard yet can help stations conduct a public-file health check; keep political advertising paperwork under control; bring EAS logging and weekly review into the cloud; get practical help with the FCC’s new cybersecurity requirements; see what is due before it becomes urgent; keep EEO records; make quarterly reporting easier; and manage for one station or an entire group.

The tool is for commercial and noncommercial AM, FM and TV broadcasters in the United States. It replaces spreadsheets, paper logs, shared drives and reminders with an organized compliance workspace.

PublicFile Pro inspects and manages a station’s FCC-hosted records, identifying any that may be missing, late or incomplete, and preserving a dated review history.

A free tier provides each station with a public-file review per year. Retention controls track how long records should remain available and flag any items, such as political files, eligible for removal.

Cloud EAS logging collects records from Sage and Digital Alert Systems units, organizes tests and alerts, highlights missing or unsuccessful activity, and creates weekly reports for review and signatory approval. The Political File Manager follows candidate and issue-advertising orders from request through airing, invoicing and final reconciliation.

Its equipment-security workspace includes an encrypted password vault, unique password generation, password-reuse prevention and credential-rotation management. It tracks security updates and documents firewall or network-separation protections associated with FCC 26-38.

An interactive regulatory calendar brings public-file, political, license-renewal, EEO and Quarterly Issues/Programs deadlines into a station-specific view.

Automated EEO management and Quarterly Issues/Programs reporting modules are pending.

Additional utilities address Chief Operator designations, ownership information, station-website public-file links, legal-ID review, license-renewal announcements and corrective-action records.
