Technology company Waymark has announced its new Waymark 2 platform, which it says uses AI to allow for easier production of video advertising.
Radio World has detailed how the startup developed a natural-language platform on which users can produce ready-to-air commercials for TV, streaming and digital media using generative AI.

The company said in a release that the tools included in Waymark 2 produce higher-quality ads and provide greater control. Features include enabling users to lock in their preferred elements of an ad while regenerating the remainder of its content, facilitating an iterative process.
Waymark also states that its AI models behind the platform have been upgraded. Waymark 2 has a total of 13 video generation models. The company says these upgrades will enhance personalized scriptwriting, context-aware computer vision and AV synchronization.
The company said in the release the upgrade from its Waymark 1 platform is intended to improve ROI from the ad creation process.
Waymark also announced the addition of Sinclair and Cox Media as partners.
Among media companies with a radio presence, Beasley Media has been a Waymark partner. It announced a roll out with Beasley originally in 2023 to “generate high-quality commercials with professional voice-over in five minutes or less.” NRG Media, which provides content and digital marketing to stations in the Midwest, also uses Waymark’s technology.
