“The one-node single-frequency network with an HD Radio system will provide the station with an interference-free transmission and more robust contour to help it extend to an additional 784,000 potential listeners, roughly 142 percent more than its current reach,” GBS said in its announcement.
“The station was launched in 2014 and has been reaching the bottom contour of the Miami market with considerable success. In exploring potential solutions to reach a larger audience, the station President Adib Eden and VP/General Manager Jose Zerpa traveled to several MaxxCasting stations in the northeast to learn about the economic and technological advantages the system can provide.”
