WideOrbit Adds Sales Tools

Sales and CRM modules fatten bottom lines

Broadcast automation and business software developer WideOrbit is bringing new tools to the NAB Show.

The company says that WO Media Sales is a sales solution for radio or TV that allows media companies to manage sales operations across account management, avails and planning, order EC, posting, multimedia selling, research and analysis.

The system processes ratings data from Arbitron and BBM, and provides a platform for stations and agencies to transact business with trading partners using the WO Central Express portal. It also works natively with WideOrbit’s WO Traffic system for the sharing of agencies, advertisers, contacts and revenue.

Another new product, WO Media CRM, is a sales and account management solution for media companies that WideOrbit says delivers control and visibility across a sales organization and helps clients increase revenue and drive efficiencies across the sales process.

According to the company, WO Media CRM helps managers by providing an accurate view of sales activities, opportunities and pending business, and allows managers to forecast revenue and maximize account lists and sales team assignments. The company believes that WO Media CRM helps drive sales effectiveness by providing a streamlined sales process that includes automated approvals, Microsoft Outlook integration, mobile access and tracking and notification of pending business and tasks.

Additional products highlighted at the show include new features for the WO Traffic platform. These include expanded functionality for Internet campaigns such as integration that allows Internet campaigns created in WO Traffic to flow to Google’s DFP legacy and premium Internet ad server platforms.
