Mediabase and Universal Music Group renewed a long-term agreement.
Mediabase, part of Premiere Radio Networks, will continue providing radio airplay research to UMG’s recording labels.
Radio airplay research is derived from Mediabase’s Music Information Systems, products and services that includes Mediabase 24/7, Add Board, Mediabase National Callout Research and Rate the Music. UMG uses them to track the popularity and frequency of artists’ music being played on radio and other North American media outlets.
