Regarding the letters in response to the possible sale of the WBT site and preservation possibilities.
In Mason, Ohio, iHeartMedia’s WLW(AM) managed to commercially develop right around the tower — also a Blaw-Knox — and over the ground radials.
It seemed pretty outrageous at the time, but the station is still on the air.
Perhaps thinking outside the box could result in a way to save the towers and possibly even keep them in operation.
